EDDY in Action

EDDY, our medium-term activation at Sydney’s Central Station, is now in its fifth month of operation.

We’re pleased to report that this creative and cultural retail ecosystem continues to build. EDDY’s tenants have been working side by side to create a place that’s self-sustaining, welcoming and rich with the cross-pollination of ideas.

Collaborations abound: Nonna’s Grocer X Maison Balzac have poured a grape candle that is sure to age like fine wine. Nonna’s is also partnering with its neighbour Picnic by Condimental on a tomato and plum-heavy Mother’s Day box (soon to be announced). City Oltra have been busy, too – collabing with Ricos Tacos from Chippendale and recipes/playlist-swapping with Buenos Aires pizza legends C.A.N.C.H.A.

There’s more. Planet Trip records finished setting up their EDDY studio space in March. Bear’s Summer/Autumn Jazz program continues to stop commuters in their tracks and lure them in for hours at a time. Teleport (pictured above) has been using The Multi-Space create to mind-bending and immersive experience about art and technology. SHADES – which will have an extended 2am license come May – hosted Right Angle’s own Neo-Placemaking event.

We’re not even halfway through EDDY’s run at Central, so it’s safe to say: there’s plenty more where that came from.
