The world of architecture and property does not like cracks. There can be no crack in your design vision, commercial logic, reputation and certainly not the building. Cracks are quickly remediated and filled – people get in trouble if there are cracks.

Yet an obvious crack opens between designer and developer in almost every nuanced property project, as each party reached the limits of their respective fields and better outcomes for a place lie undiscovered between them. Cracks are not problems to be fixed but openings to be explored.
