Semi-Permanent is a creativity and design festival that marked its 20th birthday in 2022. To celebrate, Semi-Permanent assembled an astonishing line-up over three days in Carriageworks.

Amongst it all, our CEO Barrie Barton presented and participated on a panel titled City Utopia – a great topic for an urban thinker who loves cities precisely because they aren’t utopic. Barrie spoke alongside Yvonne Weldon (Deputy Chair, Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council), Chris Fox (artist and architect) and Damon Gameau (director of 2040 and Regenerating Australia).
