The sun has set on silly season, but summer is only just kicking off in Lorne. Joining the evolving cultural precinct on the Great Ocean Road is The Clam – a seaside tavern and gem at the end of the earth. It’s a sibling venue to our very own Lorne Theatre and makes the perfect pre- and post-screening spot to grab dinner or drinks.
Lorne’s new watering hole is headed by the esteemed David Moyle (Franklin, Longsong) and George Barnes (Fratelli Paradiso, 10 William, Icebergs). There’s a wine list curated by Blackhearts & Sparrows and dumplings on the deck thanks to Melbourne favourite ShangDong MaMa.
Visit The Clam’s website and Instagram to see the latest live music and events.
