Byron Bay Arts & Industrial Precinct has been at the coalface of retail culture in Byron Bay for some time now. On the ground, the diverse set of businesses and tenants are stitched together as a tight-knit community, but to the visitor the collection of organisations that call the precinct home can appear disparate and disconnected.

Norfolk Property are a significant landholder within the precinct, and a champion for growing culture, community and commerce in the region. The Norfolk team approached Right Angle to help design and deliver an editorial platform that could tell the stories of the Arts & Industrial Precinct and showcase the voices that make it so unique. The platform would be named after a key street in the precinct, Banksia Drive, which in recent months has emerged as a focal point for activity.

Right Angle worked with designer Lora Ward, a long-time friend and collaborator and owner of Bacteria Books (an occupant of the precinct) to transform the dynamic brand identity she had created for Banksia Drive into an equally dynamic editorial experience.
